Vero Beach Centennial

The small, sunny town of Vero Beach, Florida was founded in 1919. This year, it turned 100 years old and I created a coaster set and packaging in order to celebrate. Each coaster has a phrase that relates to the history of Vero Beach. The coasters are laser cut from .25" poplar wood, stained, and sealed. As with most things, I began with sketches.

From the sketches, I figured out the dimensions, took the wood to the laser cutter, and then stained and sealed the coasters. While I waited for them to dry between coats, I worked on the packaging.

Finishing touches were then added, and the final product was finished.
